How I clean and translate a doujinshi (cassino's NO:under)

I meant to make a post on this two weeks ago and totally forgot...great going me :/
Anyway here I'm gonna talk a bit about the process I went through working on NO:under (and basically every other doujinshi I've done) so if that sounds like something you'd like to read about, here you go.

Apparently (and not surprisingly) this one was translated years ago on Tumblr by lightsrefrain, but it was never reposted anywhere and their blog is no longer available so whatever. I went out of my way to "remaster" this one because the original scans weren't so good, and if you compare it to the older scans you'll definitely see the difference. I might do a post on my methods fixing up bad scans later.
I actually know who scanned it this time, it was 53luver on e-hentai (here), although I also used scans from EDIT#1013 by the same friend as last time for some pages and these scans for recreating the first page.

Probably going to disappear for a month or two again after this one, I have some other stuff I need to do.

A very kind friend of mine bought EDIT#1013 (and a whole ass scanner!) and scanned Schoolboy (the exclusive oneshot from this book) for me, so here it is for all of you :) I also posted the raws to e-hentai if anyone is interested in those.
It's a SFW one this time and is also pretty short, but I'll have a NSFW one from cassino next week some time most likely. It's also part of this doujinshi and has scans but doesn't seem to have a translation online. If it ever had one, it seems to have disappeared completely from the internet :( Edit: I said previously we were going to rescan this book, but as it turns out the binding on the reprint makes it look worse than the existing scan. I'm carefully restoring the old scans instead now :(

Mini translator's note, I didn't see fit to include in the DJ itself: The term "Flag Kaishuu" (Collection of Flags) refers to occurrences/signs that foreshadow a future event or development. It's like "red flags" in English, but it doesn't have to mean a bad thing.

I wanted to get another dj out faster to make up for the large periods of time between my posts :( I will go back and do that last request after Summer Children is done, which will be a few months yet. I am horribly lazy at times. lmao.

Another very long disappearance between posts from me, I have to apologise again. Unfortunately I had a bit of a medical emergency in the middle of working on this (nothing major, just very sudden) and was out of action for a little while. My track record is getting rather unfortunate, I will try and speed things up a little. I also had quite a bit of trouble with this dialogue. I hope it isn't too obvious.

This one is by the same person who brought us the rather infamous Sabbath ^^;
I'm gonna be real with you guys, I REALLY don't like this doujin. I'm sorry for being gone for so long without any update (especially when all I was working on, doujin-wise, was this and it's not very long) but it is pretty hard to get motivation in between the hundred other tasks I'm doing to finish something that really wasn't made for me. At least it's done now.
I might take another break to make some actual progress on Summer Children before I get back to work. Hopefully my next one will be out in less than an entire month from now.

Notes: - I chose to translate Shachou to "Commander" simply because I felt like it, President sounded weird and it didn't occur to me until it was relevant that Boss would have been a better translation
- I didn't remove that SFX on the one page because it was proving too hard for me to do.

For real though, this doujin took FOREVER to finish. Getsumen-Spiral always packs her doujins full of dialogue and nice art and it's a nightmare to work with haha

I will submit to Exhentai probably tomorrow, but for now I've just sent it to MRM as usual. Have to work out the process there.

Minor update + thank you

All of my doujinshi translations are now available for reading on nHentai as well as a variety of other hentai websites, apparently! (Melt has also suddenly appeared on MyReadingManga...)
I didn't submit these, someone else has collected them and posted them all over the place. They're even on some Japanese websites for whatever reason. I will probably start submitting to nHentai as well given that the rest of my stuff is there now. I'm kinda hoping the person who did this will out themselves in the comments so I can thank them...! (If they even follow my blog)

Speaking of thanks, I want to offer a HUGE thankyou to my donators. I'm sorry I don't send responses about them. Please know that I really do genuinely appreciate it, it's such a kind thing to go out of your way to do, and I don't feel like I deserve it at all. I'm not gonna name you guys 'cause I don't know if you want your names publicised or anything, but you know who you are. I saw one of you on Facebook recently. That was odd.

Work on requests will continue this week. Hopefully I will get something posted the next.
Also looking for some doujin with top Shinji/bottom Kaworu since that's annoyingly rare and I've only seen a few in my hunting, if anyone knows of any? Someone on MRM said they wanted it so I might as well go looking
